Location: New York, NY – Midtown Manhattan
The Firm: Multinational law firm in every major global capital and business center in the world

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with all areas of business reporting and analysis with a focus on generating management reports and analysis of office, practice, client and attorney performance

  • Assist in the analysis and interpretation of statistical information measuring office, practice, client and attorney performance

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the data that is provided in terms of where the data came from and determines the accuracy of the information.

  • Ensure that current and accurate documentation is maintained and perform all appropriate testing of new and current reports and applications; use a variety of reporting and query tools

  • Provide analysis, definition and direction to computer-related development and maintenance activities

  • Ensure consistency of terminology and methodology across all practice analysis reports

  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

 

Required Skills:

 

  • 2+ years of recent related financial analysis and reporting

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting

  • Knowledge of basic accounting procedures including financial statement analysis

  • Expert experience in spreadsheets and any database software

  • Utilize a variety of reporting/query tools (Hyperion Interactive Reporting, Financial Reporting, Oracle Financial Reporting, Essbase and or SQL)

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities
