Summary: Major international law firm is seeking an upbeat and highly adaptable legal secretary or legal administrative assistant with exceptional communication skills, who is interested in joining one of the most prestigious global law firms in the world.

This is a permanent/full-time position offering training, outstanding benefits and vast exposure to over 16 major practices areas including but not limited to Litigation, Real Estate, Regulatory, Tax, Pro Bono, Antitrust/Competition, Bankruptcy & Restructuring, Corporate, Finance and Intellectual Property law as well as the opportunity to learn how a large multinational organization works. Key Responsibilities:

Answer all incoming calls; take a message or transfer to voicemails

Review email correspondence

Enter time into billing system, will train

Track receipts for purchases and enter into expense reports

Finalize letters and reports; editing, proofreading, formatting, categorizing, printing, filing and sending as appropriate

Create a filing system to maintain organization

Book travel, accommodations, transportation and meetings

Scan, index and log legal documents

Coordinate and plan annual events

Learn with the firm and participate in classes, training or professional development as you grow.
Skills and Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of legal experience. Can be combined legal internships and or work experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook). Knowledge of Excel & Powerpoint

Ability to prioritize maintain confidentiality, and think critically and analytically under pressure

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work productively and cooperatively and enjoy working with all levels of staff
