LOCATION: New York, NY - Midtown Manhattan
ORGANIZATION: International Law Firm
HOURS: Monday – Friday; 9:30am – 5:30pm
SUMMARY: The Legal Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for helping to coordinate recruitment marketing and communication efforts for the hiring of summer associates. The Coordinator will assist in the development of strategies for recruitment and 1L outreach, updating recruitment marketing materials and recruitment website information, and preparing attorney interviewers and hospitality suites for campus interviews. The Recruitment Coordinator will also assist with Summer Associate recruitment program planning, as well as support the Firm's Professional Development and Diversity and Inclusion teams as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain student-facing sections of the recruitment website to include extranet sites focused on recruiting Summer Associates and the candidate interviewing experience

Help develop and manage student recruitment marketing materials to promote the Firm's message

Liaise closely with Business Development in the development and implementation of written recruitment materials, recruitment website management, and recruitment event invitations

Maintain and prepare firm information for campus interviewers and ensure internal messaging is consistent with the overall recruitment strategy

Coordinate all details for hospitality suites during campus interviews and recruitment events

Travel to various law schools to assist with on-site logistics as needed

Assist with the candidate interview experience including callbacks and the scheduling process

Assist with communicating with candidates invited for interviews and with formal offers

Execute social and recruitment event planning initiatives focused on offer dinners, callbacks and 1L receptions and the annual 1L summer reception targeting top-ranked law schools

Generate fresh ideas for promotional items for campus recruiting efforts

Compile feedback from incoming and outgoing summer associates regarding marketing and recruiting efforts

Work closely with Diversity & Inclusion team to keep firm-wide diversity efforts at the forefront

Collaborate on varied projects with Legal Personnel & Professional Development department
REQUIREMENTS:
-
2+ years of recruiting experience within a law firm, financial institution, management consulting, executive search or similar professional services firm that strives to attract top tier talent

Ability to build relationships with attorneys and other professional staff members

Strong writing and organizational skills with an attention to detail

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment

Experience with MS Office Suite

Flexibility to adjust hours to meet departmental needs, as needed

Should feel comfortable traveling to some of the finest law schools as part of the firm's respected Summer Associate recruitment and recruitment event team.
